Electrics Department Information

Welcome to the home of the Pioneer Theatre Company's Electrics Department.  Here you will find information regarding employment opportunities, call schedules, and general information about PTC Lighting.  You can also find site drawings, lighting inventory and other pertinent information for lighting designers.


Designer information:

The Pioneer Theatre Lighting Department is currently running Lightwright 5 and Vectorworks 2010 on Apple Computers.  We have access to a black and white plotter that is capable of printing pages up to ArchD (24x36) in size.  We can provide designers with online storage space for plots, paperwork, and other digital documents via our dedicated file server or we also use DropBox for online file sharing.

    We are currently fully staffed for paid positions in the electrics department, but we are happy to take on volunteers.  We are also happy work with local college students to set up for-credit internships.  When paid positions open up we will make that information available here.  If you are interested in volunteering or receiving periodic emails with updates on when we could use volunteers or if we have paid positions available you can subscribe to our informational email list.
