Live
Professional Theatre . . .
just for student groups.
The PTC Student
Matinee Program is designed to expose students in grades 6 to 12 to
live professional theatre in such a way that they can develop an
understanding of and love for this great art form.
Student Matinees
are held for all shows of Pioneer Theatre Company's season and are open
to school groups only. These matinee performances are exactly the same
as the evening performances, and feature the same quality professional
theatre. Matinees begin at 2 p.m. and are always held on Wednesdays.
Ending times vary for each show. Tickets range from free to $14.
Student group tickets are also available for evening performances on
Monday and Tuesday nights.
All student
matinee groups receive a Spotlight
on Learning study guide to enhance their experience.
(Groups coming at night may receive a study guide on request.) Students
attending special Wednesday Matinees may also choose to attend a post
performance discussion with the actors.

seating and the greatest convenience, call PTC's Educational
Coordinator at (801) 585-9840, or email.
